Marcopolo Build and Donate a full functioning Bus to EPworth Children’s Home
Marcopolo DONATES FULLY FUNCTIONAL BUS TO EPWORTH CHILDREN’S VILLAGE
Marcopolo, one of South Africa’s leading bus manufacturers, has demonstrated its continued commitment to community development by donating a fully operational bus to Epworth Children’s Village, a non-profit organization serving vulnerable children in Germiston.
Marcopolo, which has been operating in South Africa since 2001, is known for
manufacturing key public transport buses such as Rea Vaya, MyCiti, and AreYeng.
The bus donated was proudly manufactured at the company’s Germiston facility.
The donation will support Epworth Children’s Village in its daily operations and will also help
generate income through rentals. All proceeds will directly benefit the children supported by
the NGO.
Simon Smith, a board member at Epworth Children’s Village, expressed deep appreciation:
“I feel extremely blessed by this generous gesture from a local company like Marcopolo. This
bus will assist us not only with our daily transport needs but also help generate funds to care
